My name is Jakki Goins and I am the owner and freelance designer of 'FoR THE LOVE OF FLORAL DESIGN'.

For awhile I owned and ran an event planning company, this is where I discovered my PASSION for floral design and found that brides and grooms were in need of personal attention. While studying floral design I worked in a retail shop with a wonderful group of people for a short time. After finishing the Retail Florist Certification program at a local college here in Maryland, I decided to become a freelance florist specializing in fresh flower design. I'm a freelance florist, meaning I don't have a traditional flower shop. I work from a small design studio. My designs speak for themselves and I am able to handle any event large or small.

I love to utilize the creative gift given to me and want dearly to bless others with it. Having been an event planner as well as a bride myself, I know how stressful all the preparation can be.

Creativity, flexibility and custom designs, personal service from start to finish, these are the many benefits of working with a freelance florist. Personalized service is my constant focus, this is why I limit the number of events I service in one weekend to only two. And they are strategically scheduled so that I will never have to large events in the same weekend. This is so the quality of my work will never suffering due to overload.
